amule (1:3.1.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  amuleweb is deprecated upstream. It still ships in this version and still
  works, but it now prints a notice at startup and upstream plans to remove
  it in aMule 3.2 or later.

  Its replacement is amuleapi, a new daemon in this package that exposes a
  REST API and a server-sent events stream, and serves a new web interface
  covering the same ground as the desktop GUI. It listens on port 4713 by
  default and keeps its configuration in ~/.aMule/amuleapi.conf, with
  passwords in ~/.aMule/amuleapi-passwords. See
  /usr/share/doc/amule-daemon/QUICKSTART-AMULEAPI.md.gz to set it up.

  Neither the amuled configuration nor the on-disk data changes, and the
  init script and the systemd unit still start amuled alone: enabling
  amuleapi is an explicit step.
