Please make sure to use a linux kernel 7.1 or later.

It should be configured
CONFIG_NTFS_FS=m (or y)
CONFIG_NTFS_RW=m (or y) # if you need rw access

Load the module if it's not built in and verify it is the only ntfs module
modprobe ntfs
lsmod |grep ntfs
(ensure no ntfs3 is there)
