mhctools for Debian
===================

NetMHC, NetMHCpan, NetMHCIIpan, NetMHCcons and NetChop executables are
not included. Install them separately and put them on PATH. This upstream
release supports the NetMHC 3/4 and NetMHCpan 2.8/3 output formats; newer
versions may use different formats.

The IEDB predictors contact remote web services. MHCflurry is optional:
install python3-mhcflurry and obtain the appropriate models separately.
The random predictor works offline and produces synthetic values for
testing, not biological predictions.

Debian uses mhcgnomes in place of the obsolete mhcnames dependency.
The build and autopkgtests run the offline upstream unit tests and Debian
regression tests. Tests requiring external predictors or model data are
excluded.
